AI or Real?
Can your students tell the difference between real photos and AI-generated ones? In this speaking activity, learners look at 30 surprising images and decide whether each one is AI or REAL. Some are obvious. Others will make them second-guess everything. Students take turns making guesses, explaining their choices, and challenging each other. It’s a fun way to build vocabulary, practice describing pictures, and express opinions. Great for all levels — just adjust the support or language targets you give. Perfect as a warm-up, group game, or end-of-lesson filler. Works well online and in person.
