What payment methods are available?
We accept credit and debit card payments. However, please note that we do not accept payments from Russia and Belarus.
Which currencies can I use for my subscription?
Since we are registered in Ukraine, your payment will be processed in Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH). The amount will be equivalent to the USD amount, converted based on the current exchange rate at the time of purchase.
When will my betterclass subscription be charged?
Your subscription will be charged on a monthly basis, depending on the date you sign up. For example, if you subscribe on the 5th of the month, you’ll be charged on the 5th of each subsequent month.
How long does the subscription last, and how is it renewed?
Your subscription lasts as long as you choose to keep it active and is automatically renewed on a monthly basis.
Will my subscription automatically renew each month?
Yes, your subscription will renew automatically each month. Your payment details are securely saved and encrypted by our payment provider to ensure a smooth and secure transaction process.
Are the funds deducted automatically?
Yes, the payment will be automatically deducted each month, ensuring uninterrupted access to our resources.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can easily cancel your subscription by going to My Account > My Subscription in your account settings. Once canceled, you will still have access until the end of your current billing cycle.
I have a subscription, but the content is still locked—what should I do?
Try logging out and logging back in. This usually helps. If you’re still experiencing issues accessing your content, please send us a message, and we’ll work quickly to resolve the problem.
Where can I find invoices for my subscription payments?
Invoices can be requested by sending us a message. If you prefer, we can also arrange to send them to you automatically on a monthly basis.
How can I update the billing details on my invoices?
Please contact us with the updated billing information, and we will ensure that your invoices reflect the correct details.
Materials and Access
Can I download all the materials?
Yes, all materials are available for download as soon as you become a paid subscriber. This allows you to access and use the content at your convenience.
Can I preview the materials before purchasing a subscription?
Absolutely! Preview screenshots are available on every lesson page in both light and dark modes, giving you a clear idea of what to expect.
What is dark mode?
Dark mode has become increasingly popular in recent years, offering a screen experience that is easier on the eyes, especially at night. This feature is particularly useful for students in different time zones, providing a comfortable viewing option during nighttime hours. Additionally, it can be a stylish choice for your lessons. We’re proud to be the first ESL website to offer this feature, and many of our subscribers love it.
How do I find the materials I need?
You can use the filters on our lesson page to sort by levels and topics that interest you. Additionally, the search bar is a helpful tool for quickly finding specific content.
Can I edit the materials directly from the website?
Unfortunately, the materials cannot be edited. They are provided as ready-to-use resources.
Are the materials interactive?
No, the materials are provided as PDF files. We believe PDFs are the industry standard and are preferred by most ESL teachers. However, if you’d like to make them interactive, you can use third-party websites or tools, as we currently don’t offer built-in interactivity.
How often are new lessons and activities added to the website?
We add 12 new lesson plans and 15-20 activities each month, ensuring that you always have fresh content to engage your students.
Can I suggest a topic for new lessons or activities?
Yes, we’d love to hear your ideas! Please send us a message with your suggestions, including any references or links, and we’ll consider them for future content.
What happens if I buy a personal subscription and then share it with others?
Sharing a personal subscription violates our terms and conditions and will result in a permanent account ban without a refund. Our system monitors account activity, and any suspicious sharing will lead to immediate termination of access. How do I search for the lesson I need?
You can find the lesson you need by using the filters or search bar on our lesson page.
How do I open videos and games in the lessons?
To open videos, click on the video link provided in the PDF document, then share your screen with your students. Please note that videos cannot be played directly within the PDF file.
Is it possible to download the videos?
We don’t offer direct downloads for videos. However, you may explore browser plugins that allow you to download videos from YouTube.
Why do you use a horizontal layout?
We use a horizontal layout because it’s the best format for online teaching. This layout ensures that each page focuses on just one activity at a time, minimizing distractions. Additionally, it features beautiful images related to the lesson topic, enhancing the visual experience. If you plan to use this format in a classroom setting, we recommend displaying it on a large screen for the best results.
Do you offer printable lesson plans?
Yes, in August 2024, we introduced a new printable format. While we encourage minimizing paper use, we understand that some educators prefer printed materials, and we’ve got you covered.
