Unlikely Explanations

In the “Unlikely Explanations” activity, students are presented with bizarre or impossible scenarios (e.g., “Why are there penguins directing traffic downtown?”) and must come up with the most creative explanations for how these situations occurred. This activity encourages students to think imaginatively, use descriptive language, and practice storytelling skills. By sharing and discussing their ideas with classmates, students will engage in lively discussions that build their confidence and fluency in English.
