My Photo Friend
This ESL activity, “My Photo Friend,” helps students practice describing daily routines and using the present simple tense. Each student chooses one of 10 jobs (e.g., doctor, chef, astronaut) and imagines a “photo friend” with that job. They create a daily timeline detailing their friend’s activities (e.g., “At 8 a.m., they drink coffee. At 9 a.m., they start working.”) and then pair up to share and describe their photo friend’s daily life with a partner.
