This is a flipped lesson. Before the session, make sure to tell your students to preview 11 vocabulary words from pages 5-6. You can either send them a list of words or full pages with our suggested definitions.
- Lead-in: In class, you’ll start by discussing as many lead-in questions as necessary.
- Agree or Disagree: Go over the agree/disagree questions encouraging students to share their thoughts, and real-life examples.
- Vocabulary: Breeze through vocabulary slides. If anyone needs help with the vocabulary, you can discuss it together.
- Video and Video quotes: Students watch the video (either individually or together). When you’re done watching, discuss some interesting quotes from the video. You can also talk about anything else that your students found interesting or thought-provoking.
- Collocations: Students complete the collocations page. This will help them learn how to use collocations related to brands and marketing.
