Teaching guide

This is a regular lesson. There is no need for students to preview any tasks unless you have specific goals in mind.

  1. Lead-In 1: Discuss as many questions as necessary. Encourage a lively discussion among students to activate their prior knowledge.
  2. Lead-In 2: Name various types of Airbnb accommodations and prompt your students to engage in a conversation about which options they like the most. Make sure they thouroughly explain why.
  3. Discussion: Before watching the video go over three more discussion questions about Airbnb.
  4. Video and Comprehension questions: Show a video about Airbnb following the suggested steps and time codes. After watching the video, have students review the comprehension questions to ensure a thorough understanding.
  5. Speaking: Ask students to break down the functioning of Airbnb using the provided infographics.

  7. Reading: Read the dialogue, fill in the blanks with missing words or phrases of your choice.
