In this creative ESL activity, students use emojis as prompts to craft and share stories. The activity is designed to engage students of all levels in both online and offline classrooms. The challenge progresses through four stages, with each stage increasing in complexity:
- Start with 3 Emojis: Students create a simple story using just three emojis. This level is perfect for beginners to get comfortable with the concept.
- Move to 5 Emojis: As students gain confidence, they expand their stories with five emojis, adding more details and creativity.
- Then 7 Emojis: With seven emojis, the stories become more complex, encouraging students to think critically and build richer narratives.
- Finish with 10 Emojis: In the final stage, students use ten emojis to come up with a detailed and imaginative story, showcasing their language skills and creativity.
